TheEuropeanCommissionwillinvest3millioneuros($3.18million)tosetuparesearchandinnovationcenterinChinaaspartofitseffortstodeepenEU-Chinascientificandtechnologicalcooperation.

欧盟委员会将投资万欧元（万美元）在中国建立一个研究和创新中心，作为深化中欧科技合作的一部分。

ThecenteristhefirstEC-fundedcenterinChinathatfocusesonresearchanddevelopment.ItwillbeheadquarteredinBeijing,andhavenetworksinothercitiesonthemainland.

该中心是欧洲委员会在中国资助的第一个中心，以研究和开发为重点。它将总部设在北京，并在大陆的其他城市建立网络。

ItsserviceswillrangefromorganizingeventstoincreasingexchangesbetweenChineseandEuropeanresearchers,toproducingreportsaboutthesituationinChinaonscientificandtechnologicalinnovation.

其服务范围从组织活动、增加中欧研究人员之间的交流，到编写关于中国科技创新情况的报告。
